Welcome to your Polling Canada model update for January 3, 2026!

This past week saw two new polls, the weekly Nanos tracker and Liaison.

Liaison found the Liberals ticking up to 39% (+1 compared to the previous week), while the Conservatives ticked down to 37% (-1). The NDP was also down to 11% (-1), while the Bloc, Greens, and PPC were stable at 7%, 3%, and 2%, respectively.

Nanos also found the Liberals regaining ground, inching up to 38% (+2 compared to the previous week), with the Conservatives down to 35% (-1), and NDP stable at 11% (-). The Bloc and Greens were stable at 7% and 4%, respectively, while the PPC ticked down to 2% (-1).

Overall, the Liberal lead nationally remains untouched. However, their advantage in Atlantic Canada grew (+2 compared to last week), alongside British Columbia (+2) and Ontario (+1).

The Liberal lead in Quebec ticked down once again (-1) as the Bloc continues to gain ground, while the Conservative lead in the central prairies dipped (-2).

Let us take a look at this week’s model and other polls making headlines!
