Liberals Maintain The Lead Heading Into December
The Conservatives stumble while the Bloc picks up steam in Quebec
Welcome to your Polling Canada model update for December 6, 2025!
This week saw five new polls, the weekly Nanos tracker, Leger, Liaison, Angus Reid and Abacus.
Nanos found the Liberals at 42% (Unchanged compared to the previous week), Conservatives at 38% (+1), NDP at 8% (-1), BQ at 7% (-), Greens at 3% (-), and PPC at 1% (-1).
Leger saw the Liberals steady at 43% (Unchanged compared to Nov 2), Conservatives down to 36% (-), Bloc up to 9% (+2), NDP up to 8% (+1), and Greens steady at 4% (-).
Abacus recorded the Liberals at 41% (Unchanged compared to Nov 27), Conservatives at 41% (+1), NDP at 7% (-1), Bloc at 7% (-), Greens at 2% (-), and PPC at 1% (-).
Liaison’s poll had the Liberals at 43% (-1 compared to Nov 8), Conservatives at 36% (-), NDP up to 12% (+2), Bloc down to 5% (-1), Greens steady at 2% (-), and PPC at 2% (+1).
Lastly, Angus Reid saw no movement for the Liberals at 40% (Unchanged compared to Nov 7), Conservatives down to 37% (-1), NDP up to 10% (+1), Bloc up to 9% (+1), with the Greens at 3% (-) and PPC at 1% (-).
Overall, the Liberal lead nationally remains unchanged on the polling average. Meanwhile, the Liberal lead grew in Atlantic Canada (+2 compared to last week) as well as in Ontario (+1).
The Liberal lead slipped in Quebec (-3) thanks to higher Bloc support, while the Conservative lead grew in BC (+2) and Alberta (+2), while shrinking in the central prairies (-3).
