Liberals Continue To Climb In The Polls
Conservatives, Bloc, and NDP shed support to the Liberals as an election call draws near
On Friday, Mark Carney was officially sworn in as the next Prime Minister of Canada, alongside his new cabinet. Almost immediately, Carney cut the cabinet nearly in half, while also functionally eliminating the consumer carbon tax. Such actions, although early on, are showing that Carney intends to put some distance between himself and his predecessor.
Likewise, on Friday we received a number of new federals polls, ranging from a small Conservative lead nationally to the Liberals completely blowing the Conservatives out of the water.
