Here’s your election update for April 6, 2025!

We received two new polls today in the form of Abacus (Tied) and Ipsos (LPC +12), alongside the trackers with Mainstreet (LPC +2), Liaison (LPC +5), and Nanos (LPC +6).

We also got twenty new ridings polls from Cardinal Research, with the Liberals leading in eighteen of the ridings (I’ll dive into those further in the article!).

Today’s polls saw the Liberal lead in a number of regions narrow as the polls tighten some. The Liberal lead slipped in Atlantic Canada (-1 since yesterday), Ontario (-1), and British Columbia (-2).

Part of the Liberal dip is thanks to the NDP and Conservatives polling a little higher in the three regions. However, the Liberals still hold commanding leads in all but two regions.

Let’s take a look at the model, the regionals, and some new polling!
