Nanos found yet another jump for the Liberals to 47% (+2 compared to July 24) and subsequent drop for the Conservatives (-2), while the NDP was stable at 13% (-), and the Bloc was down to 6% (-1). The Greens were also down slightly to 4% (-1), while the PPC was up to 2% (+1).

Abacus saw little change overall, with the Liberals up to 44% (+1 compared to July 16), Conservatives at 38% (+1), NDP at 9% (-), and Bloc at 6% (-1). The Greens were stable at 3% (-), while the PPC was stable at 1% (-).

Overall, the Liberal lead nationally has ticked back up to ten points over their Conservative rivals.

The Liberal lead increased in Quebec (+2 compared to last week), while remaining stable in the other regions where they currently hold an advantage. The Conservative lead in Alberta ticked down (-3), while also seeing a decline in Saskatchewan/Manitoba (-5).
