Welcome to your Polling Canada model update for September 6, 2025!

This week we had four new polls with the weekly Nanos update, alongside Angus Reid, Mainstreet, and Liaison

Angus Reid released their first post election poll, with the Conservatives at 40%, Liberals at 38%, NDP at 10%, and Bloc at 8%. The Greens and PPC clocked in at 2% and 1%, respectively.

Mainstreet’s latest poll found the Liberals slipping to 42% (-5 from June 26), Conservatives 40% (+2), NDP at 8% (+2), and Bloc at 5% (+2). The PPC and Greens were at 2% (-1) and 1% (-), respectively.

Liaison’s newest poll showed little shift since their August 8th poll, with the Liberals at 44% (-), Conservatives at 35% (-), NDP at 10% (-1), and Bloc at 5% (-1). Once again, the Greens are at 2% (-1) and PPC at 2% (+1).

Finally, Nanos saw the Liberals finish at 43% (-1 compared to last week), Conservatives at 32% (-2), NDP at 13% (+2), and Bloc at 6% (-). The Greens finished at 3% (-) and PPC at 2% (-).

As a result, the Liberal lead nationally has slipped compared to last week (-2), while their lead in Ontario diminished (-3). However, their polling leads in Atlantic Canada (+3), British Columbia (+3), and Quebec (+1) have grown.

With that, let’s take a look at this week’s model!
