This past week saw three new polls, the weekly Nanos and Liaison trackers, and Abacus.
Liaison latest poll has the Liberals at 43% (-1 compared to Aug 8), the Conservatives at 32% (+1), NDP at 13% (-), Bloc at 6% (-), Greens at 3% (-), and the PPC at 2% (-).
Nanos found the Liberals at 46% (Unchanged with Aug 7), Conservatives at 29% (-), NDP at 14% (+1), Bloc at 6% (-1), Greens at 4% (-), and the PPC at 2% (+1).
Abacus had the Liberals dipping to 42% (-2 compared to July 29), Conservatives at 35% (-3), NDP at 10% (+1), Bloc at 8% (+2), Greens at 4% (+1), and the PPC at 2% (+1).
Overall, this puts the Liberals’ lead nationally at thirteen points, exactly where it was this time last week.
The Liberals grew their margins in Ontario (+1), while losing support in Quebec (-2), British Columbia (-2), and Atlantic Canada (-1). Meanwhile, the Conservative lead in Alberta dipped this week (-1), while their lead in the central Prairies inched up (+1).
