Battleground British Columbia
While the rest of the nation remains quiet, British Columbia continues to be competitive between Liberals and Conservatives
Welcome to your Polling Canada model update for August 9, 2025!
This week we had two new polls with the weekly Nanos update, and Pallas.
Nanos found little movement compared to their previous week’s release, with the Liberals at 44% (-), Conservatives at 33% (-1), and NDP at 12% (-). The Bloc slipped to 5% (-1), while the Greens and PPC both rose one point to 3% apiece.
Pallas released their first post-election poll and found the Liberals leading their Conservative rivals three months on. The Liberals sit at 43% (-1 compared to the election), the Conservatives at 38% (-3), and the NDP at 8% (+2). The Bloc remains stable at 6% nationally (-), while the Greens finish at 2% (+1).
Overall, the national lead for the Liberals remains steady, while their lead in Atlantic Canada rose this week (+2). On the flip side, the Liberals lost some ground in Quebec (-1), while the Conservative lead in Alberta rose (+2).
Let’s take a look at this week’s model!
