As U.S. Relations Sour, Canadians Seek EU Alignment
Vast majority of Canadians support deeper economic ties with the European Union
New polling suggests Canadians are more than willing to continue playing hardball with the United States in trade negotiations. Even if those negotiations succeed, many Canadians say there's a growing need to deepen economic integration with our European cousins in the EU to reduce future dependence on our southern neighbours.
