More floor crossings and a trio of by-elections is set to give Mark Carney his majority government this week

This past week saw two new polls, the weekly Nanos and Liaison trackers.
Liaison saw the Liberals tick down to 44% (-1 compared to Mar 28), with the Conservatives at 33% (-), NDP at 9% (-), and Bloc at 6% (-). The only party to shift up this week were the Greens at 3% (+1), while the PPC was stable at 2% (-).
Nanos found the Liberals dipping to 46% (-1 compared to Mar 27), with the Conservatives at 31% (-1), while the NDP jump to 13% (+2), and the Bloc to 6% (+1). The Greens were stuck at 4% (-), alongside the PPC at 1% (-).
Overall, the Liberal lead of thirteen points nationally remains stable.
The Liberals lost some ground in Atlantic Canada, with their lead shrinking there (-2 compared to last week), while their lead grew in British Columbia (+1) and remained stable elsewhere.
The Conservative lead in the central prairies dipped again this week (-1), while their lead in Alberta followed suit (-2).
